Terms & Conditions.

 

  • The booking is not effective until the owners of Jex Farm Barn and Jex Farm Stable provide written confirmation.
  • A non-refundable deposit of £100 is payable to secure the booking when made more than 8 weeks prior holiday commencement. Cheques should be made payable to Jex Farm Partners when booking the Barn and to Mr and Mrs S Harvey when booking the Stable.  We also accept Bank transfers or Card payments (Credit Cards 2% surcharge) 
  • Final balance and security deposit is payable no later than 8 weeks prior holiday commencement.
  • Bookings made 8 weeks or sooner prior commencent of your holiday, payment has to be made in full at time of booking.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a holiday where full payment has not been received less than 56 days before the holiday commencement date.
  • Bookings cancelled less than 8 weeks before date of arrival must pay the full balance unless we are able to re-book the property.
  • We strongly advise hirers to take out their own cancellation and travel insurance.
  • No liability is accepted for injury loss or damage to guests and/or their belongings, damage by or to any third party or for damage to any motor vehicle or its contents.
  • Under no circumstances are visitors allowed to exceed the amount of people allowed to stay in the accommodation. Bed linen except cot linen is provided.
  • Towels are not provided.
  • Our properties are strictly Non Smoking.
  • Reservations run strictly from 3pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure.
  • A maximum of 2 dogs (no cats) per property at £15 per week per dog.
  • Supervision of children and dogs is the responsibility of the hirers, the owners cannot be held responsible for your children and dogs, their behaviour or any accidents that occur during your stay.
  • All damages and breakages to the property or its contents must be reported to the owners as soon as possible. The owners will repair the damage as soon as practical. Damage or breakage caused by the act or omission of the hirer or persons attending the property at the hirers invitation must be repaired or replaced by the hirer at the hirers expense or paid by the hirer within 7 days of the cost of repair or replacement being determined and notified to the hirer.
  • The hirer is responsible for the property and is expected to take all the reasonable care of it, all equiptment utensils etc must be left clean and the property must be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period.
  • The owners reserve the right too enter both Barns at any reasonable time for the purpose of repairs.
  • A returnable security deposit of £100 is payable on all bookings.
  • The owners cannot accept liabilities for happenings beyond their control such as breakdown of domestic appliances, plumbing, wiring or damage from exceptional weather conditions.
  • The hirer shall be entitled to occupy the property for holiday purpose only and this agreement shall not confer on the hirer a security of tenure within the terms of the Housing Act 1988 pursuant to which the occupation shall be deemed to be the way of excluding tenancy.
  • The property owners reserve the right to refuse any booking without explanation.
